Haji Shariatullah born on 1781 CE

Char Shamail, Backergunge District, Bengal

Presidency, Company Raj (present-day

Madaripur District, Bangladesh)

And died on 1840 (aged 78–79)

Bahadurpur, Faridpur District, Bengal

Presidency, Company Raj (now Madaripur

District, Bangladesh.



He was prominent Islamic leader and scholar from Bengal in sub continat He also known for

Faraizi movement. In 1884 the Shariatpur District was formed after him and named it.



His religion was Islam and Sunni he had two son Dudu Miyan.

Known for Faraizi movement and his teacher name was Mawlana Murad.



His father was former and early education coming from his family.

When he was 8 years old he lost his father and his care taken by His uncle Azim ad-Din.

At 12 years he went to Calcutta for learning Quran and Many language such as Arabic Persian.



WHAT MOVEMENT STARTED BY HAJI



The movements known as Faraizi movement started by Haji in Bengal in 1818 against non Muslims and for Muslims to give up the Islamic practice and preaching of Islam truly.

This movement protected the rights of Muslims and there religion.

When he returned from Arabia after long time he didn't known by any at least by His uncle due to long beard and other changes.

In Bengal he want to start preaching of Islam truly but here non believer opposesd him.

He started the guiding of local Muslims.

The struggle founded in shape of Faraizi movement in 1818.

He faced a lot of opposition traps but the faraizi movements become famous in 1818.

Haji want to focus the Muslims on teaching of Quran.



WHAT WAS THE 4 MARKS OF FARAIZI MOVEMENT.



The faraizi movements led by Haji in Bengal in 1819 for practice of Islam and give up the Muslims of Bengal and act upon there duties as Muslims.










WHY HAJI  Shariatullah STARTED FARAIZI MOVEMENT.



Haji started the faraiziz movements to recive Islam and it's practice.

He encouraged the Muslims for preaching of Islam truly because they needed that time it truly.



WHAT DID HAJI MEANS BY DAR UL HARB ?



The basics doctrine and aims of Muslims noted in Hedaya. He declared the British Indian as Dar ul Harb means (an enemy of state).

Because Indian were not in fever of Islam but Muslims want freedom for there religion.
